Final Images

I have taken a large variety of photographs but i have narrowed it down to these three images as i think they show the representation of the image very well as what i intended. To take these images I scheduled a plan which was:
  • Find a date and time which would be suitable to everyone involved.
  • Find a good location for the image
  • Plan make-up and dress style (Modern day girl band / Pop)
All this planning worked well as it kept us organised and within 4-5 hours I had a variety of images which i was very happy with and i could see a fair amount of images that i wanted to use.

Draft Photographs

These are my draft photographs for my music magazine. I will now be moving on to taking my final photographs, the image i want to represent is a girl band.

Reflection of construction on pre-lim task.

To do this task i had to use photoshop, at first i hadn't a clue on how to work with it but gradually over time i think i have become quite confident with using it and can create good quality pieces of work; i have become more confident with using layers, the magic wand and working with text. I thought that my house style has worked very well, as it matches and works well together. The location that i used was ideal as i did a school magazine and my location is in a school, for my next piece i will have to put more planning into a specific space in my location. My planning for the images of the magazine was planned quite well as i had to plan ahead a few things, e.g. to use younger pupils i asked permission from their teacher a few days before so they could be excused from their lessons for a few minutes. Also making sure that the camera i needed to use was reserved for me and also fully charged so there would be no delays. For my next piece i will ensure that i look at lots of varieties of style models before i start my planning to give me some ideas and inspiration, unfortunately i did not look at more than two style models so my ideas and planning was not in different varieties so i made myself very limited to a style as i did not look further into what other style models i could of referred to.

Photo permissions

In todays lesson Mr.Liddell distributed the above form. This form gives me permission to use pupils and students within the school to pose as models for photographs for my coursework.
